Tourism and hospitality businesses across Devon and Somerset are being encouraged to put themselves forward for this year’s Tourism Awards, with the deadline for entries closing on 18th May.
The awards celebrate excellence across the visitor economy, with categories ranging from Visitor Information and Attractions to Accommodation, Experiences, Events, Pubs, Restaurants, New Business and Unsung Hero. There are also awards for Business and Wedding Venues, Spas, Cafés, Casual Dining, Regenerative Tourism, and, in Somerset only, Age Friendly tourism.
All entries are completely free and come with the added benefit of constructive feedback. Businesses can enter multiple categories, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.
Winning a Tourism Award can boost your profile, increase bookings, and offer the chance to compete at a national level. Winners in the core categories will automatically be considered for the prestigious VisitEngland Awards in 2026 – the only pathway to national recognition.
