Exeter Science Park is hosting the British Design Fund on 22nd November at an event that will focus on helping companies access venture capital and attract their first investors.
The British Design Fund, based in London, is focused on commercialising engineering innovation and unique in the way that it supports, mentors and invests in well-designed, purpose-led product businesses. Critically, the Founders and Directors at the British Design Fund have been entrepreneurs and business owners in their own right, they have extensive experience of launching products and brands into market, and understand first-hand the challenges which start-ups face.
Exeter Science Park is hosting the British Design Fund on Friday 22nd November and is collaborating with Michelmores Mainstream, SETsquared Exeter and Tech South West to identify companies that would benefit from this unique opportunity. The event will include case studies from businesses who have been successful in receiving support, a panel discussion on successful applications, as well as opportunities for 1-2-1 discussions with panel members.
Interested companies will need to submit a one-side Expression of Interest (EOI) by Friday 8th November via contact@exetersciencepark.co.uk because there is a limited number of places available at this unique event.
The EOI should very briefly explain your business or proposition, current status, your interest in funding and your expectations.
We look forward to receiving your expression of interest, and once reviewed, we will provide you with the event registration link.
