SBA’s Business Start Up Somerset is a fully-funded, accredited programme for individuals across the UK, who are interested in starting their own business or going into self employment.
The programme will allow you to develop your knowledge in the following areas:
- How to develop your business idea
- Organising and managing finances
- Successful sales and marketing
- Producing a business plan/strategy
Each programme is comprised of 3 x 3 hour sessions that take place over 3 consecutive weeks and will be delivered online.

Do you know about the Somerset Enterprise Network?
SBA CIC are pleased to announce that they have been appointed as the business support agency for the new Enterprise Centre in Chard. Recently opened, this modern, spacious building is part of the Somerset Enterprise Centre Network which also has centres in Barle, Bruton, Frome, Highbridge, Minehead, Wells, Wheddon Cross, Williton and Wiveliscombe.
The network has been developed by Somerset Council to provide managed business workspace across the county with business support services provided locally to tenants and the wider community.
