The University of Plymouth Research and Innovation Directorate has announced Call 8 of the R&D Solutions Fund, which is aimed at developing R&D opportunities between our academics and industry.
Grants of up to £20,000 are available to develop collaborative R&D opportunities through funding research activities or providing specialist technical support to businesses and academics.
Call 8 will close at 5pm on Monday 17 March 2025. Those interested in applying must register their interest and provide partnership details by contacting enterprisesolutions@plymouth.ac.uk. Upon registration, applicants will receive an application form along with guidance notes.
R&D Solutions Fund can support:
- Joint research and development projects between the University of Plymouth and business
- Access to the University of Plymouth’s specialist technical support, facilities and equipment
- Initial research activities, feasibility studies or taking research to an implementation stage
- Commercially viable or early-stage projects
- Academic or business partner’s time
Who can apply:
- University of Plymouth academics or businesses from any industry sector or geographical location
- Projects with the potential for further collaboration
- Existing or new collaborations will be eligible
